For clients living in the Toronto area, The second iPhone user group meeting for those using voiceover or zooms is happening next week.
When? Thursday October 20, at 6:30 pm.
Where? CNIB, 1929 Bayview Avenue, room 218B.
This month we focus on apps for navigation, and let's face it, getting from point A to B can be cool using an iDevice. Whether you are checking when the next bus is coming by, or driving with a friend to places unknown, your iPhone can give you useful information to help get you there.
We will spend the first portion of the meeting, demonstrating some navigation/GPS apps and engage in formal group discussion regarding accessibility of these apps along with others you may have tried yourself. Following the presentation and discussion we'll break in to smaller groups to allow others to try the apps and ask questions about iDevices in general.
Got a suggestion for a topic you'd like to see covered in a future iPhone user group meeting? Put a comment on the blog and we'll schedule a monthly meeting around it.
Upon arrival, a volunteer will be available at the main entrance to direct you to the meeting room. Look forward to seeing you on October 20th.
